1. Information we collect

We may collect information that you, your agency, or an authorized user enters into MedicareZulu, including account information, agency information, client and prospect information, plan-search information, saved plan selections, carrier-related settings, and support communications.

Depending on how the service is used, client records may include names, contact information, dates of birth, Medicare identifiers, Medicaid identifiers, Social Security numbers, provider information, medication information, plan information, and other information used to support Medicare-related workflows.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, login activity, timestamps, application logs, and information about how features are used.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve MedicareZulu; authenticate users; provide plan-search and client-management features; support agency configuration; troubleshoot problems; prevent fraud or misuse; communicate about the service; and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and improve the service, provided that the information is not reasonably capable of identifying an individual.

3. Sensitive and health-related information

MedicareZulu may be used by authorized insurance professionals to store or process information that is sensitive or health-related. Users are responsible for entering, accessing, and disclosing such information only when they have the legal authority and any required consent to do so.

Where applicable, additional contracts, agency agreements, data-processing terms, or business associate agreements may govern particular information. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to expand or replace obligations contained in those agreements.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information as a standalone data product. We may disclose information to service providers and infrastructure providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or operate MedicareZulu, subject to appropriate contractual or technical safeguards.

Information may also be disclosed when directed by an authorized account or agency user, when necessary to provide a requested integration or service, to protect the rights and security of MedicareZulu or others, or when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.

If MedicareZulu is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

5. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy retention requirements that apply to the account or agency using MedicareZulu.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and the relationship under which information was collected, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain disclosures. Some records may need to be retained for legal, regulatory, security, contractual, or recordkeeping reasons.

If MedicareZulu processes information on behalf of an agency, employer, or other organization, requests concerning that data may need to be directed to that organization because it controls the relevant client relationship and account.

7. Children

MedicareZulu is a professional software service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit children to create accounts or use the service independently.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MedicareZulu, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when a revised policy is posted.
